Episode One
The Mansion looked like nothing they had ever seen before. Built on-top of one of the cities nature reserves the building was surrounded by wide fields and strange gardens, already setting it apart from the sky piercing towers of the city. But it was the building itself that looked the most alien, like something that had been transported through time.
As the members of House Khagarn gathered to gain entry into this prestigious office they were met with the Dukes warm smile and his three companions.
"I am Lord Nikias. But you can just call me Orin. I'll be your lecturer on business and history. You'll also be assisting us during business ventures for the family"
"I am Drake Niron. You will call me Master Hunter, and I'll ensure you wake up alive in the morning. I'll be your guide when the sword is needed"
"I am Lady Isra, I'll be your guide for philosophy, our traditions, and covert operations"
During this introduction to the household a man by the name of Deverish, a tall battle scarred individual, met another prospective member of the Mansion, the young Seymor. As the group was given a tour of the mansion the two quickly became friendly with one another, and after completing their short lesson on firearms the two went out into the city to visit a nightclub. But something happened during their night out as Drake raced to the scene to find the two injured after they were attacked.
Who attacked them? And why?

Episode Two
A new day dawned for the Academy where Deverish and Seymor had recovered from their injuries, there was no longer any sign that something had happened the night before. Joining Orin’s morning lecture about the basic governance over the UEE. While the lecture was fairly basic the point that their own world, Laura, did not have its own senator anymore came up. Orin cited it was a power and money issue but there are rumours there was some sort of scandal, but with only gossip to go by none of the details came up.
Afterwards Deverish and Seymor met with Drake and lady Isra, discussing their responsive to the attack last night. Setting out with Drake the two began to hunt down one of their attackers. To onlookers it must have been a strange and shocking sight as a black vehicle pulled up towards a young man, the door opening and some sort of stun gun firing and the man falling over and dragged inside. In moments the man and the vehicle were gone.
Taken away to a remote area Deverish began to question the man under gun point. His name was Jack and someone had offered to pay him and his partner, Wakl, money in order to kill Seymor and dump his body in the reservoir. Taking his UEC card the two let the man go after learning where they could find Wakl.
The reason behind the attack still eludes them, but the trail is still hot.

Episode Three
Stopping by the Manor with their new clues in hand the team picked up a Mister Raylock, a truck of a man, in order to bring in some extra muscle. Dropping off outside a set of run down apartments the team considered their next move. Since the attacker saw both Seymor and Deverish they went around the back to look for a fire escape while Raylock entered the front to enquire where they might find Wakl.
Finding his room and opening the backdoor the three entered the building and made a beeline for Wakl’s room. Using an empty cardboard box Raylock posed it as a delivery from Wakl’s mysterious boss. The moment he opened the door the three were on him, and after smashing some of his teeth pulled him out the back door.
Taken away to a warehouse Raylock used in his own business the three questioned Wakl. He didn’t know who had hired him to kill Seymor, only communicating by text on a vid phone. After finishing there questioning they decided to leave him alive, but Deverish feeling he heard too much slit his throat once Seymor was gone.
Now armed with bank details and the messages on the vid phone they return to the manor to plan their next move.

Concerned that the unknown element may try to make another attempt on Seymor’s life Drake instructs Deverish to take him to a hotel in order to lie low for the night. Leaving them behind Drake and Raylock return to the mansion to meet up with Nuria to discuss what to do next.
Using the details of the vid phone they took from Wakl she tracks down the phone company it was bought from, but to find out more information they would need to hack one of their office computers. Arming up Raylock, Nuria breaks into the companies office and the two began to disable the guards as they headed to the security room.
However their silent approach is blown when a guard see’s them, and while they bring him down he’s able to get a shot off with his gun which alerts the building. Shooting through the security door Raylock makes the guard surrender and tell him where they can find a computer with the access they need. After finding the information Raylock shoots the guard through the head.
More fighting occurs as Nuria works on hacking into their systems and another guard is brought low under a hail of bullets. The two successfully retrieve the data before making their escape before SWAT arrives. Fleeing the scene there picked up by Drake and they return to the mansion, ready to go over the data.

Episode Five
With the newsfeeds buzzing about the previous night’s events at the phone company Nuria and Raylock lay low at the mansion while Drake met back up with Deverish and Seymor to continue following the trial.
Using the phone company’s records they were able to track down where the messages from the unknown threat had been coming from. Since the origin turned out to be a high class café in the richer district of the city, the three made a pit stop so Deverish and Seymor could get some suits.
Leaving Drake behind the two entered the café, wary of the patrons inside. Using the vid phone they took from Wakl they called his boss. Sure enough a patron of the café picked up, but before Deverish could come up with a plan to take him ‘away’ there was a revelation as to his identity. It was Seymor’s brother, Marcus Grants.
With the threat revealed as a family issue Drake stormed in, and with the other two at his side escorted Marcus out of the café. The following conversation is known only to them, but as of now Marcus’s grave dishonour against his own family is not widely known. A sombre Deverish and Seymor returned to the mansion, their hearts heavy with betrayal but their ordeal over.
But the conspiracies have only just begun.

Episode Six
Awakening the next day Deverish put himself through the motions in order to get to his morning lecture, but an unusual guest met him in the lobby. Desmond a detective from the Advocacy was questioning Drake about the missing man, Wakl. He then turned on Deverish with a few questions, leaving empty handed…
That mornings lecture spoke about Luara’s communication ability and how the system still relies on the original satellite placed there during the early days of colonisation. The rest of it was about the business impacts of that and the importance of safe guarding information.
After the lecture Deverish met back up with Drake and was introduced to a man by the name of Karas, also one of the students of the academy but also the leader of a small team of old UEE Marine vets. There had been a prison break orchestrated by the Blackhawk pirates on the penal satellite Octorus, to rescue their leader Forlorn Cur. For House Khagarn though the situation demanded their attention as one of their family was an inmate of Octorus and his life was in danger.
Gearing up in a dropship Deverish, Karas and his team boarded the satellite amidst the chaos and ran a bloody path through the rioting prisoners. Eventually they managed to secure their Brother, Joral, and the security guard that was protecting him. Fleeing the station they took down a security mech before making their escape back on the dropship.

Episode Seven
Returning to the Mansion with Joral, Deverish and Karas met back up with Drake. However before a decision could be made about what to do with Joral a man by the name of Johness appeared to take him away. After a tense exchange Drake eventually agreed to hand over Joral who left with surprise that Drake had become so timid, citing something about his terrible past.
With the recuse officially completed Drake asked the two if they could mentor one of the students of the Academy, and after agreeing they met with Rin. After a short conversation they took him outside to the firing range to go over some of the basics. Moving onto a lecture hosted by Nuria the group learned a bit more about the title system of House Khagarn, and some of the past instances of the sovereign title. Once the lecture was finished Orin summoned a group of the students to go to an auction with him, in order to test they basic business sent.
Arriving at the auction the group made their preparations whilst finding out about some of the other attendees who were from other Houses. Most notably a group from House Rilegus were present along with a Lord of House Voken- Terruian. The group now awaits the start of the auction, and the battle of money that will follow.

Episode Eight
After being pulled away from the bar by Orin, Deverish and Seymor met with another new addition to the family, Cameron. Their first meeting was a bit frayed until a member of House Rilegus came over to the taunt the group slightly. Eventually the auction got under way with various high priced items exchanging hands.
After a short exchange Cameron managed to win a piece of Xi’an art under its estimated value, whilst Seymor didn’t fare so well and was pushed into buying an old Messer pistol for just under what it was worth by Magnus, the member of House Rilegus they met earlier. The auction was slowly heating up until suddenly the lights cut out.
Plunged into darkness the hall was suddenly filled with the sound of machine gun fire as a number of armoured figures stormed in, killing the security guards and members of the audience along with a Lord from house Voken. During the exchange of fire Cameron and Deverish were able to take down some of the assailants, but not before Seymor took an unfortunate bullet to the head.
After the incident Seymor was left in intense care, and although his life was saved he is unlikely to move from the hospital for some time. In the meantime the security forces were able to apprehend one of the assailants, leaving the family to debate with itself on how they should retrieve the information they want.

Episode Nine
After returning to the Mansion Deverish and Cameron spoke with Drake and Nuria about their options. To get more information on the attack they were faced with two possible choices, attacking the advocacy transport and taking the prisoner for themselves, or doing some of the advocacy's dirty work in order to trade some information. Reluctantly the pair decided to work with the Advocacy, heeding the warnings from drake that making them an enemy would have painful ramifications in the future.
The Advocacy's presence on the planet Laura only went so far, and due to corruption or vested interests there were simply some criminal elements they couldn't deal with themselves. One such criminal was Kuan, a known slaver working out in the desert. The advocacy simply wanted him eliminated and House Khagarn agreed to take on the mission.
Using the cover of night a small team lead by Deverish and Cameron struck the slavers base, making a quiet entrance at first by disabling any guards they came across. Once inside however it didn't take long for a full firefight to begin. After a long exchange of shouting, bullets, and an sword through a slavers neck the team confronted Kuan who was holding the slaves hostage. Not wanting to give him a chance to escape Deverish made a choice to throw a bomb into the room, a choice damned by Cameron who wanted to save the hostages.
Almost everyone in the room was killed in the blast, including Kuan, and only a single slave managed to survive who the team extracted. With relations frayed between the team after that dark business they returned to the city to tell of there success.

Episode Ten
Summoned by Drake the next morning Deveirsh, Cameron, Rin and Dovra met with Duke Ashton briefly. After a short conversation Drake explained that they had two leads on the auction attackers, who turned out to be a small PMC called the Greenpaws. There was a known trader who had hired the group before who could have information, and an old member of the PMC was known to be hiding out with a group of pirates.
The group left and joined with two representatives of House Voken to go see the trader. Kader and Saline were two strange individuals, more machine then human in many lights and with personalities to match. The trader was known as Conray and greeted everyone up in his penthouse, there he showed the group footage of the auction attack which had been leaked on the internet by hackers. He gave a few theories on the Greenpaw’s motives, most likely there purpose was the assassin of the Lord from House Voken that died in there attack. Before the big group left he also gave them the name of Greenpaws leader, and once the two from House Voken left Deverish asked the trader if he could try to get into contact with the group in order to lure them out.
Returning to the mansion the four met with Drake as he briefed them on the whereabouts of one of the old members of the greenpaws and his pirate hideout. Soon they left for an old mining tower now used as the pirates base of operations. After their own ship let loose fire upon it the four dropped out and engaged the pirates in a fire fight.
The group gained the upper hand until a small mining mech climbed up the tower, driven by their target, trying to crush them with its large chainsaw legs. However they eventually brought it down with a healthy dose of explosives, laser fire, and commandeered AA guns. With the pirates dead and their target secured Rin decided to bring back home the pirates own dropship to see if he couldn’t fix it up.

Episode 11 Part A
Leaving on their dropship with the pirate the group began to question him about his old relations with the Green Paw mercenaries. Once he began talking the group learned that the Green Paw’s move around on a ship called the Iron Bear and one of their old hangs out around tinker street, an old maitanece area of the city.
Returning to the Mansion they were greeted by Seymor who had just come out of the hospital. Thanks to a new metal skull and synthetic hair he has back to health.
Later the group were summoned once more but this time to meet with the Lord Mevan, a leading figure in House Khagarn. The old man praised their work and gave them leeway to decide how the House should act with the information it learns, share it with house Voken or keep it to themselves? Eventually a compromise was decided, they’d share their information with House Voken but in trade for some of their technology. Pleased the old man left the group leaving them to begin pursuing the Green Paw’s and getting to the bottom of their attack.

Episode 12
After watching the fake video the group gathered up and met with Nuria and Drake to discuss their next course of action. Unfortunately the man mentioned in the video, Clark Adams, had gone missing for the best few days but not before sending out a large sum of money somewhere, leaving the trail cold. Acting before any more speculation could get out of hand the Lord Mevan invited the group to give their own account of the events of the night in the meeting with House Voken.
The two houses met in a neutral area, the government owned archives, in order to sit down for their meeting. There House Khagarn met Lord Gavlorn of House Voken, who had inherited the cybernetic parts salvaged from murdered Lord Terruian. Lord Gavlorn was aggressive with his accusations, bringing up suspicious actions on House Khagarns part and painting them as trying to hide their misdeeds. However the group verbally hit back and managed to deflate Gavlorns argument, taking from him the upper hands in the tasks. Far from done though Gavlorn then set out House Vokens terms, that the guilty and anyone involved in attempting to hide them be handed over, and to also hand over something he called "Part of the Inheritance". The Lord Mevan refused both terms and the meeting was cut short when a shocking announcement came in.
Across the cities borders a large coalition of pirates struck it's military outposts and bases, seemingly stripping the places of any useful tech or weapons. While Drake went off to lead a force to push some of the pirates back he assigned a mission to the team, to destroy an old missile base so that it's contents couldn't be stolen. Using their recently 'acquired' ship the team left for the old base and subdued the pirates they found inside.
They also helped themselves to some of the old equipment left behind, to keep or sell, before destroying the warehouse of old missiles.

Episode Thirteen
After their successful mission at the missile base the team returned to the mansion to discuss the implications of the pirate attack. But it wasn’t long before the Advocacy came knocking on their door with questions, and warnings.
Officer Kaylen and Detective Desmond came to the mansion with thanks for the House’s efforts against the pirates, but also a warning not to escalate matters with House Voken. Desmond seemed quite angry during the conversation until finally he accused the House of hiding Forlorn Cur, the wanted pirate who had escaped from prison only a week ago. Kaylen added that they have reason to believe that a security guard on the inside was the cause of the prison break, but that he had vanished from the scene when someone came and broke out Joral of House Khagarn. Leaving matters there the two left the mansion and the team with their thoughts.
Towards the evening a meeting was announced within house Khagarn between many of its senior members, and since Duke Ashton couldn’t go himself the team went in his place along with Seymor and Orin. The meeting started out as a small party where the group got a few insights into some of the higher up figures within the family, but soon everyone gathered together when the Lord Mevan arrived. The recent attacks were discussed until finally Duke Marigold put forward a motion to declare a time of crises and therefore initiate a Sovereign vote, which would grant one member total authority over the House.
Two candidates were put forward, Duke Marigold who stands for meeting aggression with aggression and preparing the House to take on all comers, and Duke Joseph Gallant who stands for de-escalating the situation and restore relations with house Voken. The vote is to be held in three days’ time.
With the meeting over the group took a shuttle back to the mansion but on route it was shot down by an Avenger. A number of heavily armed troopers dropped down to finish off the survivors of the crash. Deverish was wounded in the exchange of bullets, and Seymor was killed. The attackers fled after police began to converge on the scene, but not before the team got a look at the pilot of the avenger. The black clad sniper from the other day…

Episode Fourteen
After being released from hospital Deveirsh returned to the mansion where the others had gathered. The death of Seymor weighed heavy on them, a funeral date was set but the family put there grief behind them for the time being. With someone actively working not only to destabilize the family but actively kill their members the group decided to put their efforts to repairing damaged relations, and see if they could discover where there enemies really lurked.
Cameron and Nuria headed to House Voken where they met Lord Gavlorn. Almost immediately Gavlorn made a passing threat, but Cameron cleverly sidestepped it and went onto making a good case for the House's to work together, instead of escalation. Again Gavlorn made his demand for a piece of the Inheritance in return for peace, but unable to guarantee that House Khagarn would agree to such a trade Cameron left his treasured sword in it's place. Gavlorn was outraged but Kader, another member of House Voken took on Camerons words and agreed that he would try to lower tensions.
Meanwhile Deveirsh and Rin went to go see Marcus Trance, a member of House Rilegus they had met before the auction shooting. The two made a good case for peaceful relations between their houses, and more importantly not siding with House Voken should their dispute come to blows. By the end Trance could only promise they would stay out of it, too much bad blood and prejudice prevented them from siding with anyone. But he did leave the two with a message that pirates were attempting to place a bomb in the spaceport House Khagarn owned, but would not go into how he knew of this.
Racing to the spacesport the team met up again, the local security forces having already engaged in a fire fight with some pirates that had snuck into the port. The team moved forward to engage, only to find themselves in a tricky situation with the pirates threatening to detonate the bomb if they were not given an escape vessel. Tensions ran high but eventually at the critical hour a well place sniper on the other end of the building signaled the teams attack, and in quick order they put the pirates down. After disarming the bomb they met up with the sniper, Lady Isabel a senior member in House Khagarn, who gave them a quick congratulations for a job well done. But the bomb itself leaves more questions then answers, being of a heavy military make that pirates would not normally have access to...
