Episode Fifteen Part 1
The day following the attempted bombing of the spaceport the group met back together to discuss their options, and suspicions. Joined by another family member, Rook, the group discussed the implications of what was happening. With only two days left before the Sovereign vote time was running out to investigate the growing conspiracy.
Being one of the parties most likely to gain from the vote the team went to speak with Duke Marigold. There they met Joral again along with the Dukes right hand man Johness. Escorted inside they spoke to the Duke about recent events and his intentions if he won the vote. This prompted the Duke to go into a long speech about how the family is on a trajectory of economic disaster thanks to the spaceports, even admitting it’d be preferable if one was destroyed rather than being forced to sell it. After a heated exchange the group was asked to leave.
After that Rin and Deverish headed towards the branch of the Advocacy within the city, to see if they would be willing to give any information on the pirates. They met with officer Kaylen who informed them that the security guard related to the escape of Forlorn Cur (and Joral) had been found murdered in his apartment. The three then discussed the pirate issue more, Kaylen warning that 472nd Battle Group had been called to help dispatch the pirates. She finally left them with an agreement to share any important information pertaining to the pirates, the only current Intel that they had been knocking out the various unguarded communication towers around the planet…

Episode Fifteen Part 2
Returning to the mansion briefly to update Drake on what they learned and picking up another family member to help protect them the group left to go meet with Jospeth, the other Duke in the running for the Sovereign position. Greeted by his aid, Malcom, the group descended into a large skyscraper full of high rise apartments all owned by House Khagarn. Meeting with Josepth the group got into anouther heated discussion about the direction the family was taking, and the Duke's wish to steer the family away from it's old military traditions and embrace a future of business and cooperation.
Once done speaking with the Duke the group left, contacting a few people in order to see if anything had been discovered in their absence. Unfortunately the trail for Clark Adams, the middle man involved with the affair with the Greenpaws, had gone completely cold. Any and all devices capable of holding data had been cleaned out, and even the large servers he kept had been moved. The group however learned that the bomb they disarmed, the Titan Buster, did have a serial number on it which opened an opportunity they could discover where it had come from.
Retiring for the day the group went home to rest, but come morning had found the majority of their leads had dried up or simply not lead anywhere. With the vote only a day away time was running out to find out who was involved in the murders, prompting the group to discuss plans to question Johness in order to discover if Duke Marigold was behind them. But before they could leave Joral contacted Drake, screaming about being shot at by an avenger who was attacking Marigolds home....

Episode Sixteen
Racing towards the Marigolds mansion in the city with the teams Cutlass and Avenger the group discovered the mansions attacker, an Avenger ID as the Crying Mary. After engaging in a fire fight over the city and down into its streets the Crying Mary took a blow to one of its engines, forcing it to attempt an escape into the atmosphere. Chasing the injured ship the team tried to bat it out of the sky before it could get away. Once in space a massive blip appeared on the parties radar, a large Idris waiting just above the planet. The Crying Mary managed to escape towards it, but while the teams Cutlass took some heavy damage it did manage to get a scan on the Idris- granting the team a name, The Silver Eagle.
Escaping its range by plunging back to the planet to the team went back to the Marigold’s in order to see if they could find any survivors. The Duke’s guards were all dead, with bodies of their killers also littering the floor. They found Joral hiding in a cupboard, the Duke however was already dead with Johness looking over his body. Carrying the body of the Duke and one of the assassins the team left before the Advocacy arrived.
Returning to their home to report back to Drake the team began to question Johness about the Duke’s operations, still suspicious that he was somehow related to the recent set of troubles. After a bit of prompting Johness eventually admitted that the Duke had been behind the escape of the outlaw Forlorn Cur, and had been funding the pirates in order to entice them to cause trouble. The Duke had been working with someone to cause a sovereign vote but Johness didn’t know who they were.
After confining Joral and Johness to the mansion the team learned from Nuria that the Titan Buster bomb they had taken from the spaceport incident was from an old military stockpile. Unfortunately the stockpile was home to thirty Titan Busters and a ship by the name of the Silver Eagle. Before they could discuss the matter further an announcement was broadcasted by Josepth on the Duke’s death, and he showed a video of Lord Gavlorn speaking with the assassin about stealing House Khagarns inheritance. Jospeth swore vengeance against Gavlorn, and all those who would harm their family in such a matter.
With only 16 hours remaining until the Sovereign vote, time is running out for the team to determine who else is behind this conspiracy…

Episode 17
Unable to meet with Jospeth about his announcement the team contacted Kader of House Voken, hoping for a chance to find out more about the recording and what it means. Kader accepted but set the meeting to a neutral location, which turned out to be the home of Magnus Trance of House Rilegus. Gathered together a few accusations flew between the Houses, until revealed he had been undergoing his own investigation since the assassination of his Lord at the hands of the Green Paws.
Kader had learned that the assassin, the same one in the video and the one who had been hounding House Khagarn, had in fact met with House Rilegus previously which Trance admitted to. Trance told the group how they assassin approached them fishing for work, but only talking to people who had grievances with other houses. House Rilegus didn’t end up taking on their offer, which is when they went to House Voken and found someone willing to hire them in Lord Gavlorn. It was then that Trance also admitted his House funded the pirates to bomb the spaceport, partly to damage House Khagarrn but also to prevent the pirates from using their bomb on House Rilegus. However after telling Trance that the pirates could have up to thirty of these bombs he became distressed, needing to leave the meeting for a moment.
It was then during a short conversation with Kader that Drake called the team. Drake had taken a ship and for the last few hours had been tracking the Silver Eagle, and that he’d finally found it. Gathering together a breach team House Khagarn set off to board the ship and find the answers they were looking for.
After hacking its main functions the ship was made inert and boarding managed to kill or knock out the majority of its defenders. The assassin himself proved much harder to fight, wounding Griff and putting a laser bolt through Dev’s chest before getting shot in the head with an electric shotgun. As the wounded were pulled out of the ship Griff and the team did a final sweep of the ship, where they found Josepth chained to a wall.
The man had been beaten bloody and blue, a crisscross of scars running all over his body and many of his fingers were missing. As they rescued him the Duke asked deliriously who they were, not recognizing them. The team eventually realized that the Duke really didn’t know who they were, which could only mean the Jospeth they met the other day was a fake….

Episode Eighteen
Returning to the planet to get the Duke and Deverish into a hospital Griff went to meet with the Lord Mevan to warn him about the imposter before the Sovereign vote was held. Shocked by the strange circumstances the Lord Mevan commanded the immediate arrest of the imposter and that the Sovereign vote would not be going ahead, since its process had been so tainted.
Meeting up with Dev who had a rushed patch job to get him back into the fight the two lead a team to the Duke’s apartment in order to apprehend the imposter. However when they arrived there was no sign of anyone. After searching the apartment the two received a call from the imposter, who wavered between congratulating them and unbalanced rage at their actions. Infuriated by the fact he still had the Duke’s face he burnt it very badly, distorting his features into a mangled mess.
The imposter went on to declare that the group had only hurt his efforts, not stopped them, proving his point by going ahead with the detention of the Titan Busters he had placed around the city. Plunged into chaos the city was attacked by pirates moments later, looking to capitalize and take over key areas.
Heading towards the city’s main databanks the team fought their way in, destroying the servers so the pirates couldn’t get access to sensitive data or military codes. Escaping the team is now faced with a city plunged into fire and war…
